Where there's a will....

Alright, I've officially ended my blogging hiatus.
Though I can't quite say that I only put my blog on hold for the past few weeks.
In all actuality, my entire life has been on hold.
It's only been the past few days that I've come out of my hibernation.
Which isn't saying much, because I'm in upstate new york! So I still haven't been doing much life living.
There are only three reasons to blame this lack of blogging on:
1. I was sick. AGAIN. so I was stuck home in bed.
2. I gave in. I read Twilight. And then got so absorbed that I didn't go out for an entire week so I could read the other three books in the series. And I can't even say I was crazy impressed with them. Well, wasn't impressed with the last one, mostly. Maybe it was just because I read the whole series so fast. But I just didn't feel enough of an emotional connection. However, I still would recommend reading the first two. Stephenie Meyer portrayed the teenage persona brilliantly.
3. I've started to arrange for my summer trip. My friend and I are planning on taking a road trip from New York to the Pacific Northwest, and most everything in between. So I've been researching like a mad woman.

Sooooo darling bloggers, thank you for being so patient
and I hope that you have all been doing incredibly well these past few weeks!
Here are some photos I've taken lately,
books I've just bought,
and a few photos from the infamous Twilight.

The lovely Angela tagged me a million years ago.
So here it goes:
What are you wearing now? Tights and a sparkly sweater.
What's the last thing you read/are currently reading? The Subtle Knife, by Philip Pullman. I'm still in a fantasy kick after all that Twilight.
Do you nap a lot? Not lately, I've been sleeping enough at night.
Who was the last person you hugged? My mom.
What's your current obsession/ addiction? Animal Planet and Henri Bendel.
Which item from your closet are you wearing most lately? This amazing tank top I got from the Zachary's Smile boutique. Thanks Molly.
What's for dinner? rainbow sherbet.
What was the last thing you bought? A copy of Rudyard Kipling's "Just So Stories" from 1923 and a glass bottle to store fairy dust.
What are you listening to right now? Dream Girl by The Baldwin Brothers.
If you could have any super power, what would it be? Probably to read minds. Or to fly.
What is your favorite weather and why? Dark, cloudy days. The kind that aren't really cold and don't rain. But I've been warming up to the rain lately. I guess I'm getting used to it. I don't like the sun so much, and I hate the heat. So it's perfectly fine with me if New York continues with it's ongoing winter.
What time do you usually get up? Usually ten am. Sometimes earlier.
What is your most challenging goal right now? Going to class without day dreaming.
Say something to the person that tagged you: You never cease to amaze me. Keep on rockin' in the free world, girly.
If you could have a house-totally paid for, fully furnished-anywhere in the world: where would it be? Probably Paris. Maybe Italy.
Favorite vacation spot? Montreal. Or St. Thomas.
What is your favorite item of clothing? My blue blazer.
Favorite pair of shoes you keep going back to? My Stuart Weitzman heels, they're good for walking.
Name one thing you cannot live without:people.
What time is bed time? Depends on whether I'm having an insomniac-esque week or not.
If you could wake up anywhere tomorrow morning, where would it be? Paris.

I was given this tag about three weeks ago. So I tag anyone who hasn't done this yet!
