is it over?

has the summer really come and gone?

I want to believe the cool air will stay this time.

That it will wrap itself around me and hold tight.

That the temperature will continue to drop, drop, drop.

I want to shiver under a sky of snow fall,

and dance in the dark, when it is only midday.
