it's beginning to look a lot like...

open scars by pauline von aesch.
A winter garden in an alder swamp,
Where conies now come out to sun and romp,
arm by pauline von aesch.
As near a paradise as it can be
hand by pauline von aesch.
And not melt snow or start a dormant tree.
black dream by pauline von aesch.
It lifts existence on a plane of snow
One level higher than the earth below,
black bird by pauline von aesch.
One level nearer heaven overhead,
And last year's berries shining scarlet red.
escape by pauline von aesch.
It lifts a gaunt luxuriating beast
open dress by pauline von aesch.
Where he can stretch and hold his highest feat
rest of me by pauline von aesch.
On some wild apple tree's young tender bark,
What well may prove the year's high girdle mark.
sea by pauline von aesch.
So near to paradise all pairing ends:
second arm by pauline von aesch.
Here loveless birds now flock as winter friends,
ray of hair by pauline von aesch.
Content with bud-inspecting. They presume
To say which buds are leaf and which are bloom.
naked by pauline von aesch.
A feather-hammer gives a double knock.
This Eden day is done at two o'clock.
france15 by pauline von aesch.
An hour of winter day might seem too short
To make it worth life's while to wake and sport.

The cold winter is finally here.
but all I want to do is take photos outdoors.
Life's funny like that.
