Evening Star

I've had an absolutely retched day,
so it was good to come home
 to a warm cup of tea and day dreams of holidays...

'Twas noontide of summer,
And mid-time of night;
And stars, in their orbits,
Shone pale, thro' the light
Of the brighter, cold moon,
'Mid planets her slaves,
Herself in the Heavens,
Her beam on the waves.
I gazed awhile
On her cold smile;
Too cold-too cold for me-
There pass'd, as a shroud,
A fleecy cloud,
And I turned away to thee,
Proud Evening Star,
In they glory afar,
And dearer thy beam shall be;
For joy to my heart
Is the proud part
Thou bearest in Heaven at night,
And more I admire
Thy distant fire,
Than that colder, lowly light.

j'adore your balloon pictures.

and your header. oh wow. it's beautiful.

i think this a highlight of my rather boring weekend so far.
thank you. you are wonderful as always. and will always be.

i think i did get that background from a website, but now am too scared to use it again, unless it does the same as before, or worse, delete more things. eek.
