Titania lying asleep.

"Out of this wood I do not desire to go.
Thou shalt remain here,
whether thou wilt or no.
I am a spirit of no common rate.
The summer still doth tend upon my state;
And I do love thee.
Therefore, go with me.
I'll give thee fairies
to attend on thee,
And they shall fetch thee jewels from the deep,
And sing,
while thou on pressèd flowers dost sleep:
And I will purge thy mortal grossness so,
That thou shalt like an airy spirit go.
Peaseblossom! Cobweb!
Moth! And Mustardseed!"

excerpt from William Shakespeare's "A Midsummer Night's Dream"
photos found here.

I'm upstate for the holiday.
I have already seen family and friends
and got to laugh and play.
My friends threw me a party,
at which I met a boy from New York.
He later told me that he works at my favorite coffee place.
Which goes to show that the world indeed is too small!
So for the night, this was my escape from reality.
I have a few secret places wherever I go.
Secret ponds, secret rocks and fountains, secret buildings.
And whenever I'm low, I'll just go and hide out in one.

Where are some of your secret places?

Wonderful post! All my secret places are in my head, probably because I don't have any in the real world...I just lie under my blankets and go to faraway or not so faraway places.

Hi lovely! These are incredible and wonderful photos, and I love love love A Midsummer Night's Dream. In my sophomore year in high school I played a fairy in my school's production of it- it was so much fun... I hope you're well love- and have a wonderful amazing thanksgiving!!

there's a secret park across the street, when you look it just seems like there's a fence but you can actually go in and it's rather big

A trail in the redrock desert, an overgrown path through mountain meadows high above a ski valley, and my secret hotel rooms around the world. Oh, how I love my hotels.
